Asphalt Shingle Roof Replacement – Wellington St, Oakland, CA

This asphalt shingle roof replacement on Wellington Street in Oakland included a full tear-off of up to three layers, including asphalt shingles and old wood shake. After cleaning the roof deck and removing old flashing, we installed new 1/2″ plywood sheathing to reinforce the base structure.

The new roofing system featured 30-year rated synthetic underlayment, new roof jacks, pipes, flashing, and a hanger vent. We finished the job with high-quality asphalt composition shingles (customer-selected), along with hip and ridge shingles, starter strips, and detailed caulking around all penetrations. All sheet metal was painted to match the new roof, and the site was fully cleaned upon completion.
